Processing Modes

Fast Stream Copy

Fast Stream Copy trims supported videos without re-encoding. This mode is generally faster because it copies existing video streams instead of creating a new encode.

Precise Re-encode

Precise Re-encode processes the video again to provide more accurate cuts and supports advanced editing options such as removing a selected section from the middle of a video.

Local Browser Processing

Video Cutter uses FFmpeg WebAssembly technology to process videos directly inside your browser.

Files remain on your device during processing, making it convenient for quick editing tasks without transferring media to external services.

How to Use Video Cutter
