Screen Test is a browser-based tool for checking common display issues without installing additional software. It includes tests for dead pixels, stuck pixels, image retention and other visual inconsistencies that may appear during everyday use.

Dead pixel and stuck pixel test

Use solid color screens to inspect your display for dead pixels and stuck pixels. Switching between different colors can help reveal pixels that do not display correctly.

Pixel fixer

Screen Test includes a built-in pixel fixer that uses rapid color cycling within a movable area of the screen. This feature may help in certain cases involving stuck pixels. It cannot repair true dead pixels caused by hardware defects.

Burn-in checker

Display different full-screen patterns to inspect for signs of image retention or uneven display wear. This can be useful when evaluating OLED and other display technologies that may exhibit burn-in over time.

Additional display tests

The tool also provides gradient and grid tests for visual inspection. A refresh rate estimation feature is available based on browser rendering performance and should be considered an approximate value rather than a hardware specification.
